Jeff & Faith Oliver
Jeff Oliver is a 1981-82 graduate and alumni of Rhema Bible Training College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jeff served seven years as Lead Pastor of Church on the Vine in Clermont, Florida, before marrying his wife and sweetheart, Faith, in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2004.
Jeff was an Associate Pastor for a large church in Lakeland, Florida, in 2006, when he began studying Pentecostal and Charismatic history and learned that the Pentecostal and Charismatic movements had precursors in other movements dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. It seemed no matter how far back he went, there was always more. Finally, the Lord challenged him one day, saying, “Why don’t you go back to the day of Pentecost where it all began and study church history in the order the events actually took place?” Jeff accepted the Lord's challenge and what he learned was nothing short of shocking and amazing in light of an abbreviated Pentecostal and Charismatic history.
In 2025, Jeff founded Power of the Ministries to inform, inspire, and ignite the next generation with a supernatural Christian worldview. Jeff is also the former Associate Pastor and Publications Managing Editor for MorningStar Ministries and currently serves as Associate Pastor under Chris Reed at Friends of the Bridegroom Church in Lancaster, South Carolina.
Faith Oliver is the daughter of an Assemblies of God pastor and missionary to the Native Americans. Growing up on Indian reservations across the American Midwest, Faith knew that “toughing it out” on the mission field would one day enable her to help others. Using historical women of faith as role models, Faith desires to see women operate in their gifts and calling both in ministry and at home.
Faith received her education at North Central University in Minneapolis and at Liberty University's Long Distance Learning Program. She has served as a Senior Sales Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics, a Volunteer Coordinator for Youth for Christ, a women’s counselor, and eighteen years as a Certified Medical Coder. Faith loves to crosstitch in her sparetime.
